Kids Summer Camp at First Baptist Church of Davis

Kids Summer Camp at First Baptist Church of Davis is a four-day adventure that includes games, skits, music, snacks, crafts, and summer-time activities. Kids hear Bible stories and take part in teachings focusing on Psalm 23. The camp follows an “Adventure through Ireland and Psalm 23” theme, with each stop along the path teaching about the Good Shepherd and how he cares for his sheep.

First Baptist Church of Davis describes Kids Summer Camp at First Baptist Church of Davis as a lively Christian Vacation Bible Camp (VBC). The camp is led by Kids Camp Director Teresa King. Need-based scholarships are available, and adult volunteers are still needed. The church’s mission is to help everyone discover faith in Jesus, grow in love for God and others, and live as ambassadors of hope by the power of the Spirit. The church community includes people from Winters, Woodland, Dixon, Davis, West Sacramento, and students from UC Davis. Families are asked to prepare for warm weather by sending sunscreen, a labeled hat, sunglasses, and water, and drinking water stations and snacks are provided, while lunch is not provided and pickup is at 12:00.
