MEGA MATH

MEGA MATH is a math enrichment program that offers small, interactive group lessons using games and engaging activities. The program uses a research-backed approach to learning math that is aligned with Common Core standards. Classes are structured to focus on making learning fun and social in a supportive atmosphere.

• Schedule: 90-minute weekly classes for 2nd through 7th grades

Founded in 2023, MEGA MATH offers 90-minute weekly classes for students in 2nd through 7th grades with a typical 1:4 teacher-to-student ratio. The program’s mission states that it is designed to get kids excited to learn math through fun, social, and challenging lessons, with an emphasis on boosting self-confidence, self-efficacy, self-reliance, and a deep understanding of math. MEGA MATH reports a nearly 98% retention rate and notes that students come from every public elementary school in Davis, as well as several non-public schools including Davis Waldorf School, Peregrine School, and St. James School. The program has been repeatedly voted Best Math Tutoring in Davis, CA. Nadia is featured in the program’s leadership under “Meet Nadia.”
