Davis Chinese School, which runs this program, was founded in 1982 and has been in the Davis community for over 40 years. Its mission is to teach Mandarin Chinese language and culture to the greater Davis and Sacramento area community. The program is led by experienced teachers and credentialed instructors who are described as passionate about Mandarin Chinese. Davis Chinese School serves the greater Davis and Sacramento area community and participates in UC Davis Picnic Day, where it shares language and culture at this annual UC Davis tradition.
