Davis Musical Theatre Company Young Performers' Theatre is an all-volunteer program for actors ages 7 through 17, with 18-year-old high school students also encouraged to participate. No experience is required, and selection is by audition. Auditions for YPT shows are generally held on Monday and Tuesday from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, with callbacks on Wednesday, and the cast list is typically posted by the Saturday following auditions. Performances are usually on Saturdays at 2:00pm, with a closing weekend that includes Friday at 7:00pm, Saturday at 2:00pm, and Sunday at 2:00pm; some school matinees are also available.
