Villari’s Martial Arts Duarte offers professional private instruction and group instruction in Shaolin Kempo Karate. The program includes Children’s Classes, Teen Self Defense, Adults Self Defense, and KempoFit workouts, with KempoFit workouts created weekly by Master Michelle.

Villari’s Martial Arts Duarte offers professional private and group instruction for men, women, and children ages 4 and above. The program uses a unique style of Shaolin Kempo Karate and offers a varied class schedule. Villari’s Martial Arts states that it has been “America’s Self Defense Leaders” and has been leaders for over 40 years, and notes that most martial arts students are referred from satisfied students and parents.
The leadership team includes Master Instructor Michelle Fanara, a 7th Degree Black Belt; Chief Instructor Remi Crespo, a 3rd Degree Black Belt; Instructor Lankinda Abeysinghe, a 3rd Degree Black Belt; and Instructor Lisa Ing, a 3rd Degree Black Belt. Master Michelle has been studying Shaolin Kempo Karate for over 30 years and has been teaching for 26 of those years, and she earned her master’s degree in English in May 2021 and her doctorate in education in May 2024 from Cal State LA. Sensei Remi was one of Master Michelle’s original kids class members when she opened her doors 13 years ago. Sensei Lankinda is a Cal Poly Pomona graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, and Sensei Lisa is a Computer Science major at Stanford University and manages the dojo’s social media accounts. Beginner enrollment packages are available on a specials page and can be purchased online.
