Empower Martial Arts offers martial arts and self-defense training that includes basic blocks, strikes, kicks, and stances. Classes include high-energy exercises along with these martial arts skills.

Empower Martial Arts offers Junior Cubs classes for ages four to six, Youth Classes for ages seven to eleven, Teen Classes for ages twelve to seventeen, and an Adult Program. The program’s base style is Kajukenbo, a hybrid martial art that incorporates striking, blocking, kicking, stand-up and ground combat, choreographed forms, and self-defense, and it borrows from karate, judo, jujitsu, kenpo, and boxing. The school practices a modified version of Kajukenbo to serve students and families while keeping values and philosophies tied with traditions of the past. The studio describes itself as a dojo with a clean and safe, family-friendly, family-oriented environment.

Empower Martial Arts has been operating since 2010. The leadership and instructor team includes Shihan Samar Shir, Chief Jeffery Wong, Sifu Ryan Wong, Sifu Rashi Gupta, Sifu Allison Valencia, Ms. Mika David, Ms. Valerie Fong, Ms. Marjan Mahjouri, Instructor Arnav Arora, Instructor Dylan Fogt, Instructor Art Fong, Instructor Suhani Gupta, Instructor Evan Hamilton, Instructor Kaidence Hancock, Instructor Miles Hancock, Instructor Jackson Hsu, Instructor Makayla Lin, Instructor Harish Senthil, Instructor Abby Thomas, and Mr. William Warnock. Each instructor is described as highly knowledgeable and having plenty of wisdom to offer. The staff is described as professionally trained, with younger instructors offering fresh perspective and enthusiasm and adult instructors sharing life experience and advanced techniques.
