Pallen’s Martial Arts Tri Valley offers martial arts classes that include Kajukenbo, Filipino Martial Arts, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu, and Boxing Fitness. The program also offers adult classes, Breed All Abilities Classes, a competition team, a competition fight team, a competition forms team, and a demo team.

Pallen’s Martial Arts was first established in 1968 by Sr. Grand Master Max Pallen Sr. in Oakland, California, and Pallen’s Martial Arts Tri Valley has served the community for nearly 15 years. The mission of the program is to help families build good humans by focusing on character traits such as respect, confidence, discipline, and focus, as well as honor, courage, and integrity. The program uses exciting games and themed-based classes without compromising the tradition of martial arts, and its curriculum is laid out so every drill flows into the next lesson. Parents are allowed to join the process, can work out in adult classes, and can share training in common with their child, and the program is laid out to help students understand how to practice and train from home. Breed All Abilities Classes is a martial arts program for kids with disabilities, and this program was introduced to give those who are disabled an individualized training experience.
Master Bobby Pallen is a 5th Degree Black Belt in Kajukenbo, trained in Tae Kwon Do, Filipino Martial Arts, and Jiu Jitsu, and has more than 25 years of combined training and instructing experience in martial arts. Christian Pallen holds a 3rd Degree in Kajukenbo, a Lakan title in Senkotiros Arnis, and a blue belt in Jiu Jitsu, has been a member of a sponsored fight team, and is studying for his NASM Certification. Matthew Pallen holds a 3rd Degree in Kajukenbo, a blue belt in Jiu Jitsu, and has been a member of a sponsored fight team that competed in several tournaments across the state. Cedric Novenario holds a third degree black belt under Master Bobby Pallen and a fourth degree black belt in Senkotiros Arnis, is a five-time national champion in Filipino Martial Arts, and has represented the school and Team USA at the World Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation World Championships in 2012, 2014, and 2018, medaling in multiple divisions. Jasmine Tong is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Kajukenbo, has been a student for over 13 years, has three years of experience as an assistant/instructor, holds an official Instructor title, and leads the competition forms team and demo team. Mickey Lopez is a black belt in Kajukenbo and a boxing coach. The leadership team includes Bobby Pallen as Master Instructor/Owner; Christian Pallen as Head Instructor and Boxing Fitness Instructor; Matthew Pallen as Instructor; Cedric Novenario as Instructor; Jasmine Tong as Instructor; and Mickey Lopez as Boxing Fitness Instructor.
Pallen’s Martial Arts Dublin has been voted Best of Dublin in the categories “Best Learning Center/Enrichment” and “Best Gym & Fitness Training” by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, and it has been selected for the 2023 Best of Dublin Award in the martial arts school category by the Dublin Award Program. Pallen’s Martial Arts Tri Valley was chosen to be spotlighted by the City of Dublin. In 2021, Bobby Pallen started serving the community with his Breed All Abilities Classes, a martial arts program for kids with disabilities. The program offers a free trial class, describes its environment as a welcoming family atmosphere where anyone can learn, and follows a community philosophy that a community that strives together, thrives together. Testimonials describe Pallen’s Martial Arts as family and community oriented, focused on building a strong community and instilling life skills through martial arts training, and note that students are taught both fundamentals of martial arts and life lessons.
