About
Dublin Robotics Club & Robolabs offers one-on-one training for students in robot building using VEX IQ, VEX EDR, LEGO Robotics for FLL, and the FTC platform, along with group sessions and summer programs. The program includes programming fundamentals with Robot C, Graphical Robot C, and VEX Code, as well as work with VEX Robot Virtual Worlds, Autodesk, 3D Printing, and CNC. Students participate in VEX Robot building, Robot C programming, FLL Robotics, and FTC Robotics, and they compete in regional, state, and international robotics competitions.
• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Schedule: Ongoing classes with multiple time slots on Sundays, weekdays in the late afternoon and evening, plus half-day and full-day summer camps from Jun 8–Aug 7 and seasonal Thanksgiving and Christmas camps
• Price: VEX IQ or FLL - $350/MONTH (Elementary & Middle School Students); VEX EDR OR FTC - $350/MONTH (Middle & High School Students)
The program offers grants application plans based on students’ interest in their aspirational college discipline and career paths, forms teams to develop innovative ideas and create patent applications, and runs a Research Paper program for students to develop a research proposal in their field of interest. It also includes a comprehensive College Consulting program as part of specialized STEM and college preparation services, built on guidance that has led students to top-25 schools including Stanford, UC Berkeley M.E.T., University of Pennsylvania M&T, UCLA, Georgia Tech, and the University of Chicago. Dublin Robotics Club & Robolabs provides personalized instruction, working hand-in-hand with each student, and has an Intro to VEX Robotics book that covers fundamentals of robotics, VEX subsystems, the design process, VEX competition experience, and tips to participate successfully.
The leadership team includes Sasikumar as CEO, Iniyan Sasikumar as COO, and Arya Sasikumar as CTO, and staff credentials include a Mechanical Engineer specialized in Thermal Engineering. The stated goal of the program is “To create learning success stories, one student at a time.” Students in the program have competed in regional, state, and international robotics competitions and have won numerous awards and accolades.
