The program’s stated goal is “to create learning success stories, one student at a time.” The leadership team includes Sasikumar as CEO, Iniyan Sasikumar as COO, and Arya Sasikumar as CTO. A mechanical engineer specialized in thermal engineering is listed among the staff credentials. Students from the program compete in regional, state, and international robotics competitions and have won numerous awards and accolades. The program provides one-on-one training in robot building on VEX IQ, VEX EDR, LEGO Robotics - FLL, and FTC platforms, as well as group sessions and summer programs. It offers research grant application guidance based on students’ aspirational college discipline and career paths, support in forming teams, developing innovative ideas, and creating patent applications, and a Research Paper program for developing research proposals in students’ fields of interest. Specialized STEM and college preparation services include premier college consulting, with guidance that has been used by students who have gone on to attend schools such as Stanford, UC Berkeley M.E.T., University of Pennsylvania M&T, UCLA, Georgia Tech, and University of Chicago, among other top-25 schools. The program has produced an “Intro to VEX Robotics” book that covers fundamentals of robotics, robotic subsystems, VEX parts, the design process, VEX competition experience, and tips for participating in competitions. Instruction is described as personalized, with staff working hand-in-hand with students. Iniyan Sasikumar has been competing in VEX Robotics since second grade and has won multiple awards at VEX Worlds, Nationals, and the California State Championship, and he helps guide the V5RC and FTC programs.
