About

Athlinics offers a Youth Soccer Clinic that includes skills and drills, technical ability drills, and game-realistic moments. Participants train with Stanford University Women's Soccer players, take part in friendly competitions, and play in tournament-style scrimmages and other scrimmages. The program also includes group conversations with Q&A and emphasizes consistent training habits.

• Ages: 8–17 years old
• Schedule: Clinic on Jan 25, 2025 from 2:00 PM–5:00 PM PST; Assessment Sessions are 30 minutes, Mentorship Sessions are 60 minutes, and Development Sessions are 30 minutes

Athlinics states that its mission is threefold: Improve, Develop, Educate, with a focus on honing skills, fostering personal growth, and imparting insights about the next step in the athletic journey. The program connects youth athletes as players to college athletes as coaches across the nation and describes itself as more than a sports clinic by serving as a nationwide bridge between these groups. Youth participants are separated by age and skill level to form training groups in a rotational program, and all skill levels are welcome.

There is a minimum of 3 collegiate athletes or coaches at the clinic, with a target coach-to-participant ratio of 1 to 9 and a maximum ratio of 1 to 16, and clinics frequently sell out to keep this ratio strong. Parents are welcome to watch the clinic or drop off and pick up, and the only requirement is that a parent or guardian signs the liability waiver. Athlinics also offers an Athlete Mentorship Program that connects young athletes with experienced college players through structured virtual sessions conducted via Google Meet, following The Athlinics Playbook, a proprietary curriculum. The mentorship program is described as being designed to develop performance, mindset, leadership, and life skills and to prepare athletes for the next step in their soccer journey.

The Foundation Program includes 3 total virtual sessions: 1 Assessment Session, 1 Mentorship Session, and 1 Development Session, with Development Sessions that can be scheduled anytime within 3 months of purchase. The Advanced Program includes 6 total virtual sessions: 1 Assessment Session, 2 Mentorship Sessions, and 3 Development Sessions, with Development Sessions that can be scheduled within 9 months of purchase. Athlinics lists a Founder/CEO at [email protected], a Director of Soccer at [email protected], and a Director of Basketball at [email protected]. One parent testimonial states that a son and his friends loved a clinic with UCLA athletes and that the family planned to attend the next one and had shared their experience with teammates and other parents.
