El Cerrito Soccer Club Programs

El Cerrito Soccer Club Programs offers Winter Futsal, Twinkle Toes CLASS U4-U6, Twinkle Toes TEAM U6, Junior Stars U7-U8, Senior Stars U9-U10, Junior Supernovas U11-U12, and Senior Supernovas U13+. Younger players take part in activities such as playful soccer introductions, interactive drills and games, and 4v4 games against other U6 teams. Older players in the Junior Supernovas and Senior Supernovas groups play recreationally in the Jack London Youth Soccer League against teams across the Bay Area, including Oakland, Berkeley, and Alameda.

El Cerrito Soccer Club lists Mia as the Club Director. The club states that its mission is to foster a love for soccer within its community through fun, recreational play. The programs focus on recreational play, increasing youth participation in soccer, and specifically increasing girls’ participation in the sport, including in response to a decline since the COVID-19 pandemic. The club describes a community spirit that includes engaging with the City of El Cerrito, local organizations, families, and volunteers, and uses the phrase “Soccer is Better with Friends.” The club notes that families can sign up and help spread the word to receive 10% back when a friend registers.
