Perspectives Photo School

Perspectives Photo School offers Youth Summer Camps, Year-round Classes, Individual + Small Group Lessons, Week-long Photography Classes for Teens, Mentorship Program for High School Students, and Individual Lessons with a Personalized Curriculum for Youth + Adults. About the provider

Tara Layman is the founder and director of Perspectives Photo School. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Photography in 2012 and has taught photography classes since 2015. Before starting Perspectives Photo School, formerly known as Photo Camp, she helped create a photography program at a teen summer camp in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California and taught at National Geographic’s Travel Photography program. The school describes itself as a vibrant and inclusive community and says it works with students of all ages across the Bay Area.
