• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Classes are offered on weekday afternoons and evenings and on Saturday mornings, with options for younger kids, kids 6 and up, teens, adults, mixed-level groups, and all ages 6+ together.
• Price: Training is $151/month.

Studio Naga has been operating since 2000 and is headed by Louise Rafkin, who has been training since 1984, assisted by nearly two dozen black belts. Instructors are qualified martial arts instructors, and many are certified elementary school teachers, and the program maintains a high instructor-to-student ratio. Kids ages 4–6 attend the Jungle Gym class, which uses creative martial arts movement, introduces some basic gymnastics, and includes games that promote skill development, while classes for older kids and teens focus on animal style movements, physical and verbal self-defense, and conditioning. Teens may attend kids, adults, or mixed-level classes, and all ages attend together on Saturdays. Studio Naga states that training offers benefits in physical fitness, self-defense, confidence, flexibility, mental focus, and self-expression, and that it promotes confidence, coordination, and discipline in a safe, fun, and caring environment.

Studio Naga is affiliated with The Tulen Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that helps provide scholarships for those in need, and it offers self-defense and empowerment courses that can be formatted for schools, businesses, and community groups, including classes specifically for women, the GLBT community, and those who identify as non-binary. These self-defense courses are described as dynamic, realistic, simple, effective, and not fear-based, and they include verbal responses that work and are presented in positive and supportive formats. Studio Naga has been featured on MSN, NPR, and in numerous publications, is known for stressing leadership development and peer support, and has been voted Best of the Bay. Teaching, and learning to be an effective teacher, is described as an intrinsic part of the training tradition, and new students may try a class for free with no obligation; an introductory month special includes a free Studio Naga T-shirt. After each class, participants run together and are asked to wear sneakers, and those trying a free class are asked to email in advance and bring a Waiver & Release form.
