About
HR Golf Collective Junior Golf Programs offers professional golf instruction that covers putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, short game instruction, and video swing analysis. Instruction follows a model that focuses on position, grip, and aim, and each junior receives a skills and abilities evaluation with a personalized lesson plan. Campers also receive a progress tracking Guide To Golf booklet with interactive activities and a goodie bag with items such as a golf hat, ball marker, tees, and golf balls at the end of each week.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Seasonal camps in spring, summer, fall, and winter, including a Spring Break Camp from March 23–27, 9am–Noon, and Summer Camps with 3 hours of instruction per day; daily drop-off by 8:45am and pickup between 12:05–12:10
Each camp maintains a 1:8 instructor-to-junior ratio and welcomes all skill levels, with camps offered for junior golfers in grades K–6. Instruction includes rules and etiquette along with all areas of the game, and junior golfers leave camps with a foundation that includes the rules of the game and the basics of swing mechanics. All levels are accepted, no clubs are required, and families are asked to send water, sunscreen, and lunch or snacks, as lunch is not included but there is a daily lunch break during the 3 hours of physical activity.
The program is led by Heidi Richardson, Director and PGA Class A Member, and Casey Evanko, PGA Associate. Heidi is a PGA Class A6 Golf Instructor, a UCLA graduate, and has over 33 years of experience in the golf industry, earning PGA Class A Membership in 1995 and spending the past 30 years as a dedicated instructor.
