Junior Golf Programs and Camps at Encinitas Ranch

Junior Golf Programs and Camps at Encinitas Ranch include options such as JC Golf School, youth golf programs, and the JC Junior Tour. Participants can also take part in programs connected with GolfTec instruction, the Cobra Golf fitting center, the SCPGA Junior Tour, PGA Junior League, Girl’s Golf LPGA & USGA, and Nike Summer Golf Camps.

• Ages: 10–17 years old

The youth golf programs are led by PGA professional John Mason, PGA, who serves as Director of Instruction. Girl’s Golf LPGA & USGA is taught by award-winning PGA Golf Professionals, including Coach John Mason, PGA, and independent contractor Heidi Richardson, LPGA. Golf instruction and clinics are offered by PGA and LPGA Professionals, and the Golf School provides PGA and LPGA Professional instruction tailored to meet each student’s individual goals. The leadership team includes John Mason, PGA, Director of Instruction, and Heidi Richardson, LPGA, independent contractor. The program is part of a facility that has received several honors, including being voted the Best San Diego Golf Shop in the 2019 Union Tribune Readers Poll, the 2025 Recycled Water Customer of the Year by the WateReuse California Awards for Excellence, the 2023 Western Region Course of the Year Award, Awards for Excellence by the National Golf Course Owners Association, and the 2021 Golf Course of the Year Award by the California Golf Course Owners Association. Community events connected with the facility have included the Kick Off To Golf event supporting The Boys & Girls Club of Encinitas and Happy Hours at the Ranch Grill with live music, food and drink specials, which are free to attend.
