Camp Los Encinos is a premiere day camp that takes place on the campus of Los Encinos School. Summer 2026 is sold out, and wait-lists are open for both campers and Counselors-in-Training (CITs). Hot lunch is available to order from the vendor Hero Eats.
• Ages: 6–15 years old
• Schedule: Summer Camp 2026 runs June 15–August 7, with camp days from 8:45am to 3:00pm, free early drop-off starting at 8:00am, and a pick-up grace period until 4:00pm
• Price: Campers are $500 per week, with Early-Bird rates of $415 per week until February 28, $440 per week until April 17, and $475 per week until May 31; CITs are $350 per week with no daily option and no early-bird pricing
Camp Los Encinos enrolls campers who are rising 1st through 6th graders and CITs who are rising 7th through 9th graders, and individuals who are 16 or older may apply for a summer counselor job. The camp is part of Los Encinos School, a small, private elementary school serving grades K–6 that is celebrating its 46th year as a K–6 primary school and its 11th year of running Camp Los Encinos. The leadership team includes Co-Directors Eric Hutchinson and MJ Eastburn, along with Head of School Ilene Reinfeld. Los Encinos School states that it has a Notice of Nondiscriminatory Policy as to students and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender identity, national or ethnic origin, or sexual orientation in administration of its educational policies, tuition assistance programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs. The school’s mission states that it is educationally expansive and intentionally small and that it nurtures joyful, creative, confident, and resilient learners who develop the foundation to make a positive impact in their communities and the world as ethical leaders. Building character and mutual respect are emphasized daily in the classrooms and in the service learning program.
