The 5 Baseball and Softball Training Programs include specific clinics such as a Baseball Hitting Clinic, Softball Fielding Clinic, Catching Clinic, Baseball Fielding Clinic, and Softball Hitting Clinic. • Schedule: Spring clinics run February 2–April 10 with options Monday–Friday during business hours of 3pm–9pm, plus additional availability Saturday 9am–6pm and Sunday 10am–4pm.

Program leadership and coaching roles include Brianna Velasquez (Director of Softball Operations and Social Media Coordinator), Chris Resendiz (Facility Manager and Infield Lesson Coach), Brandon Gold (Pitching/Infielding Development Coach), Jacob Reyes (Hitting and Catching Baseball Coach), Mike Smith (Director of Little Sluggers and Sluggers Program), Amber Rivas (Catching, Hitting and Outfield Softball Coach), Serena Rodriguez (Seasonal Coach for pitching, outfield and hitting in softball), and Isaiah Granados (Catching and Hitting Baseball Coach and Director of Youth Training Academy).

The coaching staff’s listed backgrounds include college playing experience and academic degrees. For example, Brianna Velasquez played softball at the University of New Mexico Highlands from 2015–2019, earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Performance Development, and completed a master’s degree in Sports Management in 2022. She is noted as an RMAC Conference Champion, a 2015 CIF Champion at Chatsworth High School, and an All City Team selection. Brandon Gold played at Georgia Tech from 2014–2016, was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2016, played six minor league seasons including two in AAA, and played in the 2023 World Baseball Classic for Team Israel. Jacob Reyes is listed as a Hitting and Catching Baseball Coach, a California State University, Northridge Class of 2024 graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, and a coach for the 365 travel baseball organization. Mike Smith has 39 years of experience as an athletic director, coach, and teacher at Oakwood Elementary School.

Softball coaches include Amber Rivas, who is a current Division I softball player at CSUN, a four-year varsity player at El Camino High School, and a MEAC Rookie of the Year and MEAC Champion. Serena Rodriguez is listed as a current Division I softball player at Morgan State University, studying in a nursing program, and a four-year varsity player at Simi Valley High School. Baseball coach Isaiah Granados is described as a current Division II baseball player at Point Park University studying Sports Management, a four-year varsity player at Chatsworth Charter High School, and a two-year player at Mission Community College.
