Encino-Sherman Oaks Girls Softball offers fastpitch softball, USA Softball tournaments, and professional clinics. The program includes both recreational league play and USA Softball All-Star play during the year.
• Ages: 4–17 years old
• Schedule: Spring season typically runs from February through the end of April, followed by USA Softball All-Star play and tournaments during the summer months; the fall season starts in September and continues until mid-November, with the Fall 2026 Rec Ball program running from Monday, August 24, 2026 through Sunday, November 8, 2026.

Encino-Sherman Oaks Girls Softball is a 100% volunteer-run organization that uses certified coaches. The league was started to provide an enjoyable, challenging and educational softball league for girls age 4 to 17 and grew to become a place where families come together to share the value of sportsmanship, self-confidence and leadership in a supportive environment. The program is committed to inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to play, regardless of financial circumstances, and focuses on building a community that includes special events and fundraisers where families can interact and build friendships.
Encino-Sherman Oaks Girls Softball is recognized as one of the premier USA Softball-affiliated programs in the San Fernando Valley and is affiliated with USA Softball, the governing body of the sport of softball in the United States. It is one of the fastest-growing youth sports leagues in Southern California and offers two recreational softball seasons each year, with the fall season focused on instruction and development. Registration has no geographical limitations and is open to all girls, and players are evaluated, drafted and placed in age- and skill-appropriate divisions from 6U to 17U to help ensure fair, balanced teams.
Everyone at Encino-Sherman Oaks Girls Softball, from board members to managers, coaches and team parents, are volunteers. The league provides special events and fundraisers that allow families to interact and build friendships, offers live streaming cameras for recreational games with access to live games and games on demand for up to 10 days after, and uses text and email communications for last-minute game schedule changes or important league news. Encino-Sherman Oaks Girls Softball is proud to be affiliated with USA Softball, the governing body of the sport of softball in the United States.
