Encino-Sherman Oaks Girls Softball offers recreational softball, USA Softball tournaments, professional clinics, All-Star play and tournaments, special events, and fundraisers. The program includes girls who are evaluated, drafted, and placed in age and skill-appropriate divisions from 6U to 17U. It also offers live streaming cameras for ESO recreational games, with access to live games and games on demand for up to 10 days after.

Encino-Sherman Oaks Girls Softball is a 100% volunteer-run organization dedicated to teaching the values of sportsmanship, self-confidence, and leadership to daughters through the sport of fastpitch softball. The program is affiliated with USA Softball, the governing body of the sport of softball in the United States, and is recognized as one of the premier USA Softball-affiliated programs in the San Fernando Valley. It is described as one of the fastest-growing youth sports leagues in Southern California, with registration that has no geographical limitations and is open to all girls. The league states that it is committed to inclusivity and accessibility, with flexible payment plans and player sponsorships available for families in need, subject to league approval, and that it is a community of families that are passionate about softball and involved in efforts such as Wildfire Relief Community Support.
