MandarinArts Dance Programs offers a range of classes that include Mandarin Sounds parent and me class, Mandarin 101, Dance Dance Baby, Music & Creative Dance Movements, Mandarin 201 at Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced levels, Buddy Piano, Hip Hop Dance Class, basic ballet, contemporary jazz, Chinese folk dancing, ballroom moves, music class, dance class, playacting, crafts, and a trilingual immersion program in Mandarin and Spanish with a sprinkling of English. The Dance Dance Baby class teaches multiple dance styles with instruction in Mandarin, and the Music & Creative Dance Movements class combines music and dance with instruments and Mandarin instruction. The Hip Hop and Pop dance class meshes Chinese cultural music and moves and is taught by a celebrity choreographer who has choreographed or danced alongside Coco Lee, Chico Benymon, Chris Brown, and Will Smith over the last 25 years.

MandarinArts Dance Programs is part of MandarinArts, which is described as a new concept studio for kids and the first of its kind currently in Los Angeles, with language, music, drama, and dance all taught in Mandarin and Buddy Piano classes taught 50/50 in Mandarin and English. The studio also offers private classes with a maximum of 2 students per class and a brand new trilingual immersion program that combines themed learning, crafts, and enrichment activities like dance and music.
Classes are taught by a team of dedicated native Chinese teachers who specialize in teaching the Mandarin language in a fun and immersive way. Co-founders include Selena Lee, a former Managing Partner at a top global advertising agency leading an account for Paramount Pictures Studio, and Casey Wu, a Vice President at Paramount, mom, native Chinese speaker, and board member and Vice Principal at a non-profit Chinese institution. The Agoura Hills location of MandarinArts launched in June 2024 and serves families in the Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Oak Park, Thousand Oaks, Westlake, Hidden Hills, and Malibu vicinity. Selena’s vision for MandarinArts is for it to be a lifestyle studio for kids to organically learn the Chinese language while engaging in language, music, drama, and dance, and MandarinArts aims to change the way kids approach Chinese language acquisition and make the world a little smaller and more accessible.
