Thanksgiving Break Camp

2398 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, Fairfax, CA 94930

About

Spend Thanksgiving break getting as much time outdoors as possible. Join us in looking for real live turkeys, playing in fallen leaves, and giving thanks to the abundant harvest of the season. We gather bay nuts, acorns, and madrone berries. Play games in the open meadows and colorful forests and explore the creeks. If the rains have started, we build shelters and have a cozy fire. We learn about how animals and plants live in the winter season and the wilderness skills they teach us. Perhaps most importantly, we remember the roots of this holiday and the people of this land who inspired it by giving thanks for the natural world and celebrating the season together.
