Signature Concoctions Cooking Classes

Signature Concoctions Cooking Classes offers private cooking classes, specialized workshops, and cooking parties that focus on modern Indian cuisine cooked at home for family or guests. In a couple of hours, participants reinvent classic Indian dishes using simple techniques of fine cooking and non-Indian ingredients. Classes are available 1:1 or for small groups, and virtual classes are offered via Google Meet.

• Price: $120.00 per person at location for 3 dishes with ingredients provided; $100.00 per person at location for 3 dishes when participants bring their own ingredients; $60.00 per person virtual for 2 dishes when participants bring their own ingredients; $30.00 per person virtual for 1 dish when participants bring their own ingredients; additional charge of $25 per person to add more items to the class menu.

Signature Concoctions Cooking Classes is led by Vasanti, a blogger, trained chef, culinary instructor, and published cookbook author who trained at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. Signature Concoctions started off in August 2008 as a food blog and evolved into cooking classes in 2012. The program shares a take on modern Indian cuisine that is prepared using fresh ingredients while staying true to its authenticity and makes Indian home cooking accessible to people in the San Francisco Bay Area. Cooking parties feature specially designed menus customized for events such as birthdays, holidays, girls nights, weekend afternoons, couples, or kids, with the option to choose 3 dishes from the class menu or design a custom menu outside of the listed items. For some pricing options, participants bring their own ingredients, and the number of attendees ranges from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 4 in the Signature Concoctions Kitchen, with no limit at other locations.
