King's Land Chess Education Center

King's Land Chess Education Center offers weekly group chess classes, the GATE Program, small group lessons, intensive training camps, private lessons, and USCF-rated tournaments. Weekly group classes are level-based from New Beginner to Elite Group, with year-round enrollment, one class per week, and a two-classes-per-week option.

About the provider

King's Land Chess Education Center was founded in 2012 by Woman FIDE Master Coach Kiki Chen, who is listed as KLC Principle | Head Coach. The site says King’s Land Chess has over 11 years of history and has trained thousands of young players. It also says KLC students represented Team USA at the World Cadets Chess Championship and won the World Bronze Medal, and that several students qualify for the World Youth/Cadets Championship Team USA each year.

Students may join weekly classes at any time during the semester. Tuition is billed by semester and prorated for mid-semester joiners. A sibling discount of $25 off tuition per additional sibling enrolled in the same semester is offered. Two classes per week receive 15% off both classes. New students enrolling in group lessons pay a one-time $50 registration fee.
