Lisa Performing Arts is an artistic and educational organization established in 2003 by Lisa Dong. Over the last 20+ years, Lisa Performing Arts has grown in size and depth. Classes are set up by level and age, ranging from 4 years old to adult, and use a systemized, professional teaching method to train students in basic dancing techniques and styles of various dances. The facility has been renovated into three spacious and comfortable studios.
Its stated aim is to promote Chinese culture and art through education and cultural exchanges with other artistic groups in the Bay Area. LPA has won numerous awards at international dance competitions, including National Championship Awards, Top Division Awards, Choreography of the Year, Best Entertainment, Best Costume, and Special Judges Awards. Every year, the program selects an elite group of dancers from its dance team to take part in a leadership board that is involved in team building and charity event planning and production.
