My Tutoring Partners offers one-on-one and small-group tutoring in math, science, reading, writing, chemistry, and test preparation, including SAT, ACT, and GRE prep. The program also offers homeschool support, high-dosage tutoring, and summer study programs, along with summer reading, writing, and math workshops.

My Tutoring Partners was founded in 1998, has over 25 years of service, and was originally founded as Home Tutoring Plus. The program’s mission is to guide students toward their unique success stories by partnering with tutors to create an engaging and nurturing environment that provides personalized support, empowering learners to thrive across all areas of study. The leadership team includes Managing Director and co-owner Anne Wang and Student Services Manager Cristina Cristea.
The staff includes over 80 degree-holding tutors, 95% of whom are W-2 employees, and all tutors are Live Scan background-checked. Tutors have proven teaching or tutoring experience, some tutors are bilingual, and the team includes specialists in working with students on the autism spectrum. Amelia Sichi Morency has a BA in Human Development and Counseling Skills, studies in Speech and Language Pathology, and certifications in TEFSL, PITC, and Communication and Relationship Building Skills.
The program offers tailored tutor matching based on subject, grade level, and learning style, with support for elementary, middle school, high school, and homeschool students. It provides 1:1 sessions and small-group options, high-dosage tutoring programs, homeschool support with customized tutoring plans including curriculum support, and test prep aligned to Fremont’s academic standards. The program uses proprietary software called MINT that sends a Tutoring Session Report after each session and can provide a progress dashboard for an additional charge. Additional features include flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends, simple online payments and invoicing, and background-checked tutors using Live Scan. Past programs have shown an average of 5.5 months of academic progress in reading within one semester and over 90% attendance rates across tutoring programs. The program reports serving over 7,000 students across 18 schools, charter networks, and agencies, and approximately 700+ students annually through partnerships with 18 schools and organizations.
My Tutoring Partners has partnered with charter schools, public districts, homeschool networks, Native American communities, the United Auburn Indian Community, and community agencies, and it has long-term partnerships with the United Auburn Indian Community. One parent in Fremont stated, “MTP helped my daughter gain confidence in writing—now she actually enjoys English class.” Another parent in Fremont shared, “The tutor was professional, patient, and really understood how to keep our daughter engaged. MTP has been a fantastic resource for our family.” A homeschool parent in Fremont said, “We love the flexibility and how well the tutor adapted to our homeschool routine.
