City of Fresno Youth Sports Programs offers activities such as basketball, soccer, baseball, flag football, Bicycle Moto Cross (BMX), mountain biking, BMX racing, and BMX competitions. The program also includes social dances, adaptive sports, culturally inclusive activities, inclusive hands-on science, theme-based adaptive special events, arts and crafts, health and fitness activities, homework centers, science exploration classes, computer sessions, and cooking sessions.
• Schedule: Most centers are open Monday–Friday from 3–7pm, with after school programming Monday–Friday from 1–6pm and a free snack served from 3–5pm; BMX facilities have seasonal and year-round hours.

Activities funded by this grant target all age groups and include educational workshops and presentations, community walks, bicycle safety courses, and helmet fitting inspections, and following these presentations, helmets, reflective safety items, and bicycle headlights and taillights may be distributed to those in need. Funding for this program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
