Mr V Camp

Mr. V Camp offers weekly themed sessions that include STEM challenges, creative arts, superhero missions, Goofy Olympics, hands-on activities, collaborative games, leadership challenges, water play, and special Friday surprises. Campers take part in crafts, games, reptile visits, water fun, team-building sports and games, creative arts and crafts, music, character building activities, STEM-focused academics, and cognitive and physical challenges. Activities include science experiments, engineering challenges, LEGO innovation stations, slime labs, canvas painting, music and rhythm workshops, hands-on craft stations, collaborative art projects, daily compliment challenges, team-building games, leadership mini-lessons, meaningful service activities, silly relay races, outrageous team challenges, water balloon games, obstacle courses, superhero identity design, obstacle training missions, hero-themed STEM challenges, team rescue adventures, 90s dress-up days, retro games, nostalgic crafts, a camp dance party, a talent show, game character creation, pixel art design, “Level Up” obstacle courses, team strategy challenges, endurance challenges, personal goal setting, teamwork competitions, memory book creation, a talent showcase, and bounce house time.

• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Mr. V’s Summer Camp runs June 8–August 7 in weekly sessions, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with early care beginning at 8:15 AM and optional Book Club After-Care until 4:00 PM.
• Price: $265 per week; $255 Early Bird Price (register before June 1); $215 per week for each additional sibling; Early Drop Off 8:15–9:00 AM $20/day; Book Club 3:15–4:00 PM $15/day; Optional lunch $5/day; Optional $5 Friday Pizza Lunches.

The camp offers weekly themes such as Explore, Discover, and Play; Inspire Your Creativity; Kindness & Encouragement; Goofy Olympics; Superhero Week; Throwback Week (90s & 00s Edition); Game On!; Daring Perseverance; and Ultimate Finale, with a Camp Boss Battle during Game On! week and a grand finale that includes bounce house fun and awards. The optional lunch menu is available Monday through Friday for $5 per day and includes chips, carrots, and a drink, with deli meat sandwiches on Mondays and Wednesdays, tacos on Tuesdays, hot dogs on Thursdays, and pizza on Fridays.

Ryan “Mr. V” Von Hoyningen Huene leads the camp and has over 20 years of experience in elementary education, nine years serving families in the Fresno area, and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential earned through the Accelerated Collaborative Teaching (ACT) Program at CSUN. The camp’s stated mission is that every day at Mr. V Camp is intentionally designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and create unforgettable summer memories, and that it is about building resilience, encouraging creativity, strengthening friendships, and helping children discover what they are capable of. One camper described the experience by saying, “Mr. V, this place lets a kid be a kid.”
