About
Triple Creek Horse Outfit offers private horseback tours and guided horseback rides. Riders take part in horseback riding on trails that pass acres of vineyards for premium wines, across open oak woodlands, and through shady groves of tall redwoods. Rides are suitable for first time, novice, and occasional riders, as well as experienced horse owners, and the program offers private rides only.
• Ages: 8–18 years old
Triple Creek Horse Outfit has been offering guided horseback rides since May of 2003 and is celebrating 23 years. The program is led by Erin & Dominic. Children must be at least 8 years old, able to follow instructions to go on a trail ride, and must be accompanied by an adult. The weight limit is 210 pounds for the health of the horses, and the program provides suggested rider height/weight ratio guidelines (BMI). Riders must wear closed-toe shoes such as athletic shoes or sneakers, and those wearing sandals or flip-flops are not allowed to ride. For safety reasons, riders cannot bring backpacks, hats that could blow off, or wear excessively loose, floppy garments. The pace of each ride is determined by the guide after observing all riders’ abilities and considering trail and park conditions. Triple Creek Horse Outfit offers guests a complimentary tasting at VJB Cellars in Kenwood after the ride and offers lunch at the cottage post-ride. The program also offers limited, exclusive horseback riding opportunities at their horses’ vacation ranch in Bennett Valley.
