Ararat D-League Basketball offers youth basketball with activities that include free-throws contests, 3-pointers contests, 2-on-2 contests, and creative layups contests. The program includes a pre-season clinic with expert training and uses trained coaches, with volunteers receiving coaching support and guidance. Family Fun Day features mid-season contests such as free-throws, 3-pointers, 2-on-2, and creative layups, and every player receives a free uniform jersey to keep at the end of the season, along with an end-of-season trophy.

Homenetmen Glendale “Ararat” D-League Basketball states that its mission is to create the best family atmosphere for the physical and intellectual growth of participants through athletics by providing a well-organized and high quality youth basketball experience, with emphasis on fun, friendship, confidence, skill development, and character enhancement, all within the “Ararat” Center. The program is open to all boys and girls ages 4 to 13, with no try-outs, and interest and enthusiasm are the only criteria for playing. Everyone gets to play, with guaranteed playtime of at least half of every game for every player.
