Professor Egghead Science Academy Camps and Classes offers hands-on science and engineering programs where kids can take part in themed camps such as rocket camp, explorer camp, detective camp, extreme engineer camp, amusement parks with LEGO camp, and mega machine with LEGO camp. Activities include creating, building, and testing flying machines like helicopters, rockets, and planes, launching bottle rockets, making parachutes, digging for fossils, making tar pits that bubble, cleaning up oil spills, racing magnetic bumper cars, making snow, testing fiber samples, dusting for fingerprints, and analyzing fake blood samples. Kids also design, build, and test contraptions such as egg drop devices, strength bridges, tall towers, catapults, balloon cars, spinning Merry-Go-Rounds with LEGO, Mega Ferris Wheels with LEGO, speeding roller coasters with LEGO, giant amusement parks with LEGO, spinning windmills with LEGO, lifting cranes with LEGO, elevators with LEGO, and cars with LEGO using wheels, bands, gears, pulleys, and other specialty LEGO pieces, along with activities like huge dry ice bubbles, chemicals changing color, walking through a cloud, imploding cans, and dry ice rockets.
