Saint Mark's Preschool

Saint Mark's Preschool is a play-based preschool where much of the curriculum happens outdoors on two yards and in a children’s garden. The curriculum follows emergent ideas that are guided by children and fostered by teachers, and students spend a lot of time outdoors with a broad variety of learning experiences. The program maintains low student-teacher ratios and includes a specialized toddler program.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm; open 12 months of the year

Saint Mark's Preschool enrolls children from 18 months through Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten entry and offers different schedule options to meet family needs. The program is open year round and is now accepting applications for September 2026 starts for all ages it serves. The school states that it admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin and does not discriminate on that basis.

The mission of Saint Mark's Preschool is that every child enrolled knows they are loved, that they are truly respected, that their days are filled with wonder, laughter and discovery, and that they are fully prepared for their first steps in their elementary school education. The center is described as a small community based child care center. The program operates under Community Care Licensing Facility #198021704. Julia Peacock serves as the Director of Admissions and Administration.
