Senshin Center offers training in martial arts, including Aikido and Budo. Participants practice metabolic health techniques, sleep hygiene, strength conditioning, fitness, body conditioning, meditation, weapons training with traditional and modern weapons, and community service as part of their training. The dojo also has a fully equipped free-weight gym on its premises.

David M. Valadez serves as the dojocho (leader of the dojo) at Senshin Center. David M. Valadez Sensei has been training devoutly in the martial arts for nearly forty years and has done discipleships under four different internationally recognized Master Teachers. He earned his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Doctorate studies in Religious Studies with an emphasis in the History of Japanese Religious Culture at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a sworn officer for a local law enforcement agency and holds state instructor certifications in Arrest and Control and Firearms, among others.
Senshin Center describes its mission as practicing a Martial Way, or Budo, which it calls a centuries-old psycho-physiological system of thought and practice that works to bring the virtues of wellness, spiritual maturity, fear reconciliation, and harmony to one’s life. Senshin Center identifies itself as an independent dojo seeking to honor the teachings of Budo and Osensei, the Founder of Aikido. The program states that community service will round out one’s practice.
