North Valley Youth Baseball is a non-profit Pony Baseball league in Granada Hills, CA dedicated to educating children ages 3–14 via the framework of baseball, with a focus on fundamental skills, critical thinking, work ethic, sportsmanship, character, and a thorough understanding of the game of baseball. The league describes itself as a community of friendly, welcoming, and upstanding families that support the physical, academic, and moral education of the student athletes in the league. The home fields are also described as being home to native wildlife including hawks, rabbits, vultures, toads, owls, raccoons, rattlesnakes, coyotes, bobcats, and bears.
