Soccer in the Heights - AYSO Region 23 offers the Fall Season, a main soccer program with open enrollment for boys and girls, and Spring Recreation, a co-ed program. It also includes Playground Division sessions once a week on Saturday with a parent or other adult, Schoolyard Division sessions once a week on Saturday with parent participation, and EPIC for athletes with disabilities with parent participation required.
Programs
- Fall Season — 3-18 years · Main soccer program with open enrollment for boys and girls. Registrations begin in April. Season runs August–November.
- Playground Division — Once a week on Saturday · Designed by child development and soccer experts. Players and a parent (or other adult) participate weekly in age appropriate, storybook adventures. No team play. Parent participation is required.
- Schoolyard Division — Once a week on Saturday · For young children and parents. Children learn basic soccer skills through fun activities and participate in a friendly game. Parent participation is required.
- EPIC — Provides athletes with disabilities the additional support they need to fully participate in a quality soccer experience. Parent participation is required.
- Spring Recreation — 4-11 yrs · Secondary program to the Fall program. Co-ed. Registration usually occurs in January. Season runs March–May.
- Spring Select — U10-U19

About the provider
Soccer in the Heights - AYSO Region 23 has served the children and community of Hacienda Heights for over 45 years. It is a 100% volunteer organization, and parent volunteers serve as coaches, referees, team parents, and board members. Its mission is to develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs based on Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registrations, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, and Player Development.
Every player on every team plays at least 50 percent of the game. AYSO is for the entire family and aims for every boy and girl to learn soccer and have a fun, fair and safe experience.
