The Little Dance World

The Little Dance World offers classes in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, tumbling, and Chinese folkloric dance. The program provides both group lessons and private lessons, and also offers space rental. The studio offers a free tryout lesson for new dancers.

• Schedule: Class options Monday–Friday late afternoon to evening, and Saturday morning

The Little Dance World describes itself as a dance community based in Los Angeles County. The studio has 2800 ft. of space with two individual dance spaces, both equipped with professionally installed ballet barres and sprung Marley floors. The studio is a Royal Academy of Dance certified studio. Dancers are trained in accordance with the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and participate in annual graded exams and are awarded credits granting them international recognition for their achievements. The studio states its mission as providing the highest quality dance instruction by encouraging creativity, confidence, discipline, and a healthy relationship with one’s body in young dancers. The Little Dance World has been dancing since 1995.

The leadership team includes Ms. Jennifer – Artistic Director, Founder, RAD Program Director; Mr. Anthony – Teaching Faculty: Contemporary, Lyrical, Technique; Mr. Jonathan – Teaching Faculty: Jazz, Lyrical, Technique; Ms. Melody – Teaching Faculty: Contemporary, Competition Director; Mr. Michael – Teaching Faculty: Tumbling, Propmaster; and Ms. Kelly – Staff: Front Desk Manager. Regular hours are Monday–Friday from 4pm to 8pm and Saturday from 10am to 1pm.
