The Little Dance World

The Little Dance World offers dance and performing arts classes that include ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, tumbling, and Chinese folkloric dance. The program provides both group lessons and private lessons, and also offers space rental for its dance spaces.

• Schedule: Class options Monday–Friday in the late afternoon and evening, and Saturday in the late morning

The Little Dance World studio has 2800 square feet of space with two individual dance spaces, each equipped with professionally installed ballet barres and sprung Marley floors. The studio is a Royal Academy of Dance certified studio, and dancers are trained in accordance with the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. Dancers participate in annual graded exams and are awarded credits that grant them international recognition for their achievements. The program states a mission to provide the highest quality dance instruction by encouraging creativity, confidence, discipline, and a healthy relationship with one’s body in young dancers. The Little Dance World has been dancing since 1995 and is based in Los Angeles County, inviting children who find dance in their hearts to join their dance community.

The leadership team includes Ms. Jennifer as Artistic Director, Founder, and RAD Program Director; Mr. Anthony as teaching faculty for contemporary, lyrical, and technique; Mr. Jonathan as teaching faculty for jazz, lyrical, and technique; Ms. Melody as teaching faculty for contemporary and Competition Director; Mr. Michael as teaching faculty for tumbling and Propmaster; and Ms. Kelly as Front Desk Manager. The program describes itself as providing a safe space that nurtures creativity, team-building, and discipline through movement.
