About
Healdsburg Center for the Arts Youth Education Programs offers art workshops for children, after school programs, a six week Summer Art Camp, and ongoing art instruction. The program also includes a mentoring program for artists, visual art presentations, educational workshops in the arts, performance opportunities, library readings, and a variety of art classes, exhibits, and workshops.

Healdsburg Center for the Arts Youth Education Programs is part of Healdsburg Center for the Arts, a multidisciplinary non-profit arts organization and arts center and gallery with a history that goes back twenty-six years. The organization’s mission is to be the community catalyst for inspiring discovery and exploration of the arts. Its leadership team includes Kathy Birdsong, Candy Paulson, Victoria Schandler, Colin Deas, and Phillip McDonel. Healdsburg Center for the Arts received recognition as Best Art Gallery in Healdsburg 2025. Community support for its programs includes events such as Miniatures in the Manor, Opera in the Garden, the annual Healdsburg Art Festival, and other events held to underwrite operation costs. One of its most popular exhibitions is the Young Artist Show, which has featured works from ten area elementary schools and the HCA youth education program, including over 410 young people who had their art on display for a month-long exhibit in 2016.
