The Hercules Piranhas Swim Team includes practices, dual meets, invitational meets, and team events during the spring and summer seasons. Practice groups are based on swimming ability, not age, and new swimmers complete a simple swim assessment by swimming 25 yards unassisted.

About the provider
Family participation is essential, and all families are required to volunteer throughout the season to support team operations and events. The program says it is committed to creating a fun, supportive, and competitive environment where swimmers develop teamwork, dedication, and confidence.
Practice groups are based on swimming ability, not age. New swimmers will complete a simple swim assessment (swimming 25 yards unassisted). HPST is not a learn-to-swim program. All families are required to volunteer throughout the season.
