The Nest

The Nest offers 0–4 Month Mom & Me with topics that include sleep, feeding, postpartum wellbeing, and community connection. It also offers 5–11 Month Mom & Me, which covers sleep, solids, child development, and play with other babies. Other offerings include Working Mommy & Me in evening hours, 2nd, 3rd & Growing Families, Parent & Me, Toddler Playtime, and Sensory, Story & Song.

• Toddler Playtime — toddlers · Theme-based sessions with sensory play, music, crafts, and hands-on activities.
• Sensory, Story & Song — 3-10 months · Music, movement, sensory play, stories, bubbles, scarves, parachutes, and other interactive activities.

About the provider

The Nest has been operating for more than 16 years, and owner Jenn Langsdale has owned and operated it for 10 years. Classes are led by experienced educators and child development professionals who are also parents, with expertise noted in education, lactation, postpartum care, child development, mental health, early childhood, and certified lactation education. Families across the South Bay have gathered at The Nest to learn, ask questions, celebrate milestones, and build lasting friendships, and The Nest describes itself as a welcoming community in Hermosa Beach.

Pre-registration is free and gives early access to enrollment. There is no minimum age to join Mommy & Me classes. Families should enroll based on the baby's age on the first day of the session. Guests are not permitted in Mommy & Me sessions. Drop-in visits aren't available. Make-up classes are often available.
