BR Elite Soccer Training offers private soccer training, team soccer training, and group training, along with private soccer lessons and soccer skills training. The program also includes a Homeschool Program, Preschool Soccer, Elementary-Aged Kids soccer, Pre-Teens soccer, and soccer training camps.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
BR Elite Soccer Training bases its programs on a Brazilian-inspired methodology that focuses on individual technique and creativity, and coaches encourage children to express themselves on the field and build a strong connection with the ball. Private training sessions are tailored to each individual player’s needs and goals, and trainings are offered for soccer athletes of all levels and ages. Team training sessions focus on developing team unity and tactical understanding, as well as technical and physical skills. Group training builds fast paced game IQ, 1v1, and realistic game scenarios, with a minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 8 players. The program includes a Homeschool Program partnered with Cabrillo Point Academy. BR Elite Soccer Training states a mission to provide high quality soccer instruction and mentorship, develop athletes both on and off the field, recognize each player as an individual with specific goals, and create an atmosphere of positivity and success while providing athletes with tools and guidance to achieve their goals. The program emphasizes player development, sportsmanship, and community values, and has a stated goal of evolving into a full training academy and bringing athletes’ training to the competitive platform of the SOCAL Soccer League.
The leadership team includes founder Daniel Alkmim, Coach Rafael, and Coach and former international player Gabriel Sousa. BR Elite Soccer Training offers knowledgeable coaching by soccer experts from Brazil with years of experience in helping and developing players. Daniel Alkmim is a former elite player with experience in both futsal and field soccer, trained at the Zico Academy under mentors from the Brazilian National Team and Zico, and competed at the collegiate level in NCAA Division I and Division II in the United States. Gabriel Sousa played professionally in Poland and Sweden and helped his junior college team reach the Top 3 in the nation. Rafael played NJCAA Division I soccer at Cloud County, was a 2x Conference champion (2016 and 2017), 1x District champion in 2016, 1x Region champion in 2016, played the national tournament in 2016, was an All conference player in 2016, and earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Newman University (NCAA Division II). The program describes a supportive atmosphere where coaches act as dedicated mentors and care about athletes’ overall development both on and off the field.
