Huntington Academy of Dance

Huntington Academy of Dance offers Classical Ballet, Pointe, Pas de Deux, Variations, Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Hip Hop, and Musical Theater. It also offers Ballet Etudes, a non-profit youth ballet company, and Emergent Dance Company, a professional contemporary dance company. Parent Participation classes start at age 18 months, and regular classes run September-June.

About the provider

Huntington Academy of Dance has provided dance instruction in Orange County for over 45 years. Its leadership team includes Kimberly McEachern, BA, LCUSA, as Owner & Artistic Director, Kim Serany as Assistant Director, and Sasha Robertson, JD, ACUSA, as Assistant Director. The program’s mission is to inspire, challenge, and enlighten those in its surrounding communities. Its staff includes professional dancers, university educators, and distinguished members of Cecchetti USA, and teachers are certified to teach the Cecchetti Method.

Students arriving too late to receive a proper warm-up may be asked to observe class. Participation in Holiday Demonstrations and the June Recital is not mandatory. Monthly tuition is due the first lesson of the month; after the 10th, a $10 late fee applies. No credits, refunds, or adjustments for missed lessons. Registration fee is $30/student or $35 per family. Single class rate is $25 per 1 hr. class. Private lessons are $100 per 1 hour and $50 per 30 minutes. Class schedules and rates are subject to change.
