California Music Lessons offers private music instruction that includes voice, piano, guitar, violin, cello, drums, ukulele, woodwind, and brass lessons. The program provides online music lessons, in-home music lessons, and lessons at a local music teacher’s studio. California Music Lessons states that it strives to inspire music lovers of all ages and create better lives through music education. Recitals are free to students taking lessons with California Music Lessons, while non-CML students may perform in recitals for a participation fee, and formal recitals are held twice a year with opportunities for Honors Recitals. Themed recitals feature fun themes where everyone is encouraged to wear a costume, and virtual recitals are hosted via Zoom. Students are invited to perform at Knott’s Berry Farm and county fairs throughout Southern California, which are public venues, and these performances come with free or discounted tickets. California Music Lessons connects aspiring musicians throughout Southern California with talented, background-checked instructors, and has excellent music teachers available in multiple locations in San Diego County and Orange County, including Irvine.

Several instructors have detailed music backgrounds. Savannah earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Portland State University, appeared in several university opera productions as a primary role and chamber choir member, was a finalist for the Monday Music Club of Portland, and won the Van Buren Competition Young Artist Debut in the fall of 2017 through spring of 2018; she is a member of Music Teachers National Association and teaches both voice and piano. John is a professional guitarist, pianist, arranger, composer, and teacher who has worked and studied with Paul Sidoti (Taylor Swift), Mahealane (Harry Styles), Michael O’Neill (George Benson, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire), and Raymond Revel, and he arranges and composes music for various show choirs in the U.S. and writes and records his own music. Masiel received her Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance and Educator from Amadeo Roldan Conservatory, where she was awarded Best Performance Graduation, and her Master of Music in Cello Performance and Educator from the National Institute of the Arts in Havana, Cuba; she has served as Principal Assistant and occasionally Principal Cellist for the Havana Chamber Orchestra, performed at the Napa Valley Festival and Leo Brouwer Festival, played as the Havana String Quartet cellist and manager assistant at Festival Habana Clasica and Festival La Ruta de Mozart, performed at Festival de Musica de Camara with Havana Chamber Orchestra, Havana String Quartet, and Violincello Ensemble, performed with the National Symphony of Cuba, Stanford Symphony Orchestra, and Cuban American Youth Orchestra, and she teaches both cello and piano. Robert attended Mesa College and continued his education at the University of California San Diego’s Music Department, studying musical engineering, theory, and jazz band.
