About

California Music Lessons offers voice, piano, guitar, violin, cello, drums, ukulele, woodwind, and brass lessons. Students can take online music lessons, in-home music lessons, or music lessons at a local music teacher’s studio. The program includes formal recitals, themed recitals, and virtual recitals via Zoom, as well as performances at Knott’s Berry Farm and county fairs throughout Southern California.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Price: Non-CML students are also welcome to perform for a participation fee of $35.

Formal recitals are held at a formal venue for an audience of family and friends, and twice a year all students are invited to perform at these formal recitals. Students may receive an invitation to perform at Honors Recitals as they progress, and themed recitals are casual events with fun themes where everyone is encouraged to wear a costume. Students are invited to perform at Knott’s Berry Farm and county fairs throughout Southern California, and free or discounted tickets are provided for performances at these public venues.

California Music Lessons connects aspiring musicians throughout Southern California with talented, background-checked instructors, and students can choose to take lessons online, in their own homes, or at a local music teacher’s studio.
