Dance Lab OC

Dance Lab OC offers classes in Contemporary, Acro, Ballet, Pre-Pointe, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Tumbling, Progressions, Jazz Funk, Stretch/Strength, Conditioning, and Tiny Tots. Teachers and choreographers dance with the students and actively participate in each class, using a hands-on approach to teaching and learning. Smaller class sizes allow for more personal attention, less standing around time, and one-on-one corrections, with the Creative Director overseeing all classes and instruction to ensure proper technique is being taught in every style and level. Students are expected to treat one another with courtesy and respect, and they grow both individually and as a team.

Dance Lab OC is led by Creative Director Laura Russom and Owner Joyce Lee. The studio describes itself as a boutique dance studio with incredible teachers and individualized training, offering a multitude of dance styles with a dozen unique teachers. Teachers develop relationships with each student, and the instructors encourage and help enrich the students' love and passion for dance. According to the program’s mission, self-confidence and a sense of pride are communicated to each student regardless of level or age of dancer. The studio notes that it is conveniently located in Irvine between Newport Beach and Tustin near several shopping centers.
