OC Music & Dance – Dance Programs offers dance instruction as part of a broader performing arts program that also includes music and recording services. The program is part of a non-profit performing arts school that provides structured training, real performance opportunities, and a clear path from first class to pre-professional study. Programs begin in early childhood and continue through the School of Music and Dance for students ages 5–18.

• Schedule: Staff are available by email or phone from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday
The mission of OC Music & Dance is to nurture, inspire and empower Orange County’s youth to pursue their artistic dreams through instrumental and dance education, and to provide a home for community members of all ages to advance their knowledge and appreciation of the arts. The teachers are professional, with many also teaching at colleges or other well-known institutes throughout Southern California, and instructors are active performers and industry professionals. OCMD is a Steinway Select School and has 15 Steinway or Steinway-designed pianos, including a 9-ft Concert Grand Model D piano in the Black Box Theater and four additional grand pianos in teaching studios. Financial assistance is offered to support families in need.
OCMD’s community programs include Recording Services and the Operation Gig program for US military veterans. One parent reports being “100% satisfied” with a child’s lessons at OC Music & Dance, noting professional teachers, helpful and warm staff, scholarships for students, and a variety of programs including private lessons and small groups.
