About
Game Masters for Hire Dungeons & Dragons Camps offers Dungeons & Dragons camps where kids take part in daily camp sessions that teach creative storytelling, improvisation, and group problem-solving. The program also runs weekly classes, weekly campaigns, special events, one-off adventures, and virtual online Dungeons & Dragons adventures that use digital tools for maps, minis, handouts, and more. Additional offerings include Winter & Spring Break camps, a D&D Summer Camp, birthday parties, bachelor(ette) parties, charity games, corporate events, and upcoming D&D miniature painting classes.
• Ages: 7–17 years old
• Schedule: Options include week-long Dungeons & Dragons day camps, multi-week Spring and Summer campaigns, and single-day or multi-day special events with sessions such as Monday–Friday 9am–2:30pm and a 5-hour Saturday event.
Game Masters for Hire Dungeons & Dragons Camps is led by Oliver Grigsby, known as the “LA Dungeon Master,” who formed Bardic Entertainment, LLC and started Game Masters for Hire in 2023. Oliver has spent over 20 years in the entertainment industry writing for shows such as Heroes, 12 Monkeys, and Star Trek: Picard, and has been providing professional Dungeon Master services since 2019. The program uses a maximum 1:7 teacher-to-student ratio, provides all materials, and handles details such as dice, character sheets, and immersive elements like 3D maps and miniatures. The stated goal of the program is to make Dungeons & Dragons fun, accessible, and easy to play.
Opened in 2025, The Adventure Hall is described as an immersive gaming space built specifically to host Dungeons & Dragons, featuring private game rooms, a social lounge, and an outdoor activity area. The program also offers a free Summer Kick Off & Info Session event that includes Kona Ice and games. Oliver has supported Foothill Childrens' D&D Club in many ways as a mentor and leader.
Parent reviews describe Oliver as doing a great job teaching D&D to newcomers and taking players on epic adventures, being a fantastic Dungeon Master who supports a children’s D&D club as a mentor and leader, and being infinitely patient with friends who had never played D&D before while inspiring new players to continue with their own D&D journey.
