LCFCC Junior Golf Programs and Camp Cañada include PGA Junior League Golf, Golf Camp Cañada, Birdies, Girl Power Golf, Junior Weekly 1 hour group instruction, and the Junior Golf Association. Golf Camp Cañada focuses on having fun while learning the lifelong sport of golf, using games, shorter distances, and fun incentives to teach skills and behaviors on and off the golf course, and aims to make golf fun and approachable while placing the child on the cart path to success. Birdies is a junior golf program for ages 4–7. LCFCC’s junior golf clinics cover the fundamentals of the golf swing, putting, chipping, and golf course etiquette, and instructors emphasize that golf has to be fun and that grouping kids is important to their development. Girl Power Golf is an innovative girls junior group created because girls were not signing up in junior clinics, is specifically designed for girls ages 7 and up, is taught in girl-only clinics by a young female pro, and includes fun events that make each session a go-to making friends destination.
