California DanceArts offers Pre-Ballet / Children's Classes for ages 3-8 with basic ballet steps, core motor skills, coordination, listening and following in class, creativity, and imagination. It also offers Junior Ballet Division classes for ages 9-12, Youth Ballet Division Classes for ages 13+, Pre Pointe & Pointe Program, Private Coaching, and Summer Programs.

• Youth Ballet Division Classes — 13+
• Pre-Ballet / Children's Classes — 3-8 · Dance classes for children age 3-8; includes basic ballet steps, core motor skills, coordination, listening and following in class, creativity and imagination; very limited enrollment.
• Pre Pointe & Pointe Program — Progressive ballet program preparing students for pre-pointe preparatory classes and training fully en pointe.
• Junior Ballet Division — 9-12 · Twice a week classes for Junior Ballet Levels 1 & 2; provides the foundation for entry into more advanced training.
• Summer Programs — Summer offerings in July and August, including Fairytale Ballet, Swan Lake Camp, Flying Fairies Camp, and Summer Classes.

About the provider

California DanceArts was established in 1987 and has been La Canada Flintridge's ballet school since 1987. The director and artistic director is Aerin Holt. Its curriculum includes the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum and is based on ABT’s National Curriculum, with French school, Cecchetti Italian School, and Russian Vaganova training methods. California Contemporary Ballet is the resident company at California DanceArts and includes a youth division.

• Private Coaching — Private 1:1 coaching sessions for personalized attention, faster improvements, and scheduling convenience.

Very limited enrollment; classes are small by design; student placement is by assessment; children are not placed on Pointe until specific physical qualifications are met.
