Summer Acting Camp is presented by Theatrical Education Group, which has provided structured summer theatre programs for children across Los Angeles and the South Bay since 1998. The program is described as L.A.'s most popular acting camp and offers 12 daily classes, free before and after care, and a final performance. Each campus follows the same curriculum, with thoughtfully structured sessions leading to a final performance for family and friends. Summer Acting Camp is described as a kindness-centered, confidence-building program where creativity thrives and every child feels supported, and Theatrical Education Group states that its theatrical education is intended to be informative, engaging, accessible, and affordable.

Summer Acting Camp notes that it is in its 29th summer as one of Los Angeles’ most trusted theatre camps for young performers and that Theatrical Education Group has been an innovator of original educational services for theatre since 2004. The camp serves families across Southern California, including the Foothills and South Bay areas and greater Los Angeles, and brings its theatre program to communities such as Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Torrance, and nearby areas.

Parent feedback includes comments such as, “This is far and away my daughter’s favorite camp she has ever been to,” and praise for the organization of the camp, the range of classes, and the final performance, as well as parents stating that their children had “the most fun” they have ever had at a camp and that they plan to return.
