California School of Dance

California School of Dance offers Baby Movers, Little Movers, Pre Ballet, Ballet 1, Ballet 2, Ballet 3, Ballet 4, Pre-Pointe, Pointe, and Lyrical Beginner. Baby Movers meets once a week and requires parent or adult participation in the studio. Little Movers meets once a week, Pre Ballet introduces ballet class structure and basic ballet terminology, and Mini Jazz teaches basic jazz technique, coordination, rhythm, flexibility, balance, warm-ups, across-the-floor movement, and age-appropriate choreography.

• Baby Movers — 1.5-2 years old · Tue 6:15-6:45 pm; Wed 9:00-9:30 am; Sun 8:45-9:15 am · $60 per month · Parent or adult participation required; adult stays in the studio with the dancer. 1 class/week.
• Little Movers — 3 years old · Thu 4:15-5:00 pm; Sat 9:30-10:15 am · $70 per month · Parents wait in the lobby. Movement friendly clothing. 1 class/week.
• Pre Ballet — 4-5 years old · Mon 5:15-6:00 pm; Tue 4:15-5:00 pm; Sat 10:15-11:00 am · $70 per month · Introduces ballet class structure, posture, musicality, classroom etiquette, and basic ballet terminology. 1 class/week.
• Ballet 1 — Wed 4:00-5:00 pm, Fri 4:00-5:00 pm (Ballet 1-B); Wed 5:00-6:00 pm, Fri 5:00-6:00 pm (Ballet 1-A) · $125 per month · Ballet terminology and technique through barre, center, and across-the-floor exercises. 2 ballet classes/week.
• Ballet 2 — Tue 5:00-6:15 pm; Thu 5:00-6:15 pm · $160 per month · Deepens classical ballet technique with increased vocabulary and longer combinations. 2 ballet classes/week.
• Ballet 3 — Mon 6:00-7:30 pm; Wed 6:00-7:30 pm; Fri 6:00-7:30 pm · $280 per month · Technical elements include adagio, pirouettes, petite allegro, grand allegro, advanced port de bras, and epaulement. Prior experience required.
• Ballet 4 — Mon 6:00-7:30 pm; Wed 6:00-7:30 pm; Fri 6:00-7:30 pm · $280 per month · Continues developing strong, clean technique with focus on musicality and artistry. Prior experience required.
• Pre-Pointe — 11 and up · Mon 7:30-8:00 pm · $60 per month · Builds strength and technique before pointe work. 15% discount if already enrolled in ballet class. 1 class/week.
• Pointe — 11 and up · Wed 7:30-8:00 pm · Invitation only.
• Mini Jazz — 4 to 7 years old · Sat 11:05-11:50 am · $70 per month · Teaches basic jazz technique with coordination, rhythm, flexibility, balance, warm-ups, across-the-floor movement, and age-appropriate choreography. 1 class/week.
• Lyrical Beginner — 8 and up · Thu 6:15-7:15 pm · $85 per month · Combines ballet and jazz to tell a story through movement. 15% discount if already enrolled in ballet class. 1 class/week.

About the provider

California School of Dance was founded in 2025. The leadership team is Miss Edi & Miss Ido; Edilsa Armendariz; and Idolina Armendariz. Edilsa Armendariz has over fifteen years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels and has obtained a Progressive Ballet Technique certification, and Idolina Armendariz has completed a Progressive Ballet Technique certification.

Baby Movers: 1 class/week. Little Movers: 1 class/week and movement friendly clothing. Pre Ballet: 1 class/week. Ballet 1: 2 ballet classes/week. Ballet 2: 2 ballet classes/week. Ballet 3: 3 ballet classes/week. Ballet 4: 3 ballet classes/week. Pre-Pointe: 1 class/week with 15% discount if already enrolled in ballet class. Pointe: invitation only.
