About
JamCamp Rock & Roll Summer Camp is a one-of-a-kind, high-energy week-long music camp where campers join real bands, learn real songs, and put on a live RockStar Showcase concert at the end of the week. Campers take part in daily mini-lessons, jam sessions, performance coaching, and can learn up to four full songs with their bandmates, with options to learn guitar, bass, drums, piano, ukulele, and vocals, write songs, and perform in a band at concerts. The program includes band classes, private lessons, workshops, and the Rockstar Pro program, and allows instrument switching and song modifications to fit each group’s skills, along with self-practice at home supported by a student portal with song recordings, sheet music, special focus tracks, karaoke versions, playback controls, and downloadable content.
• Ages: 7–17 years old
• Schedule: Week-long sessions run Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Each camp day runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and follows a set schedule: 10:00–11:00 AM check-in, selecting the song of the day, and breaking off with instructors by instrument to learn and practice that song; 11:00–11:30 AM a first run-through jam session with the whole band in the Live Room; 11:30 AM–12:30 PM lunch break; 12:30–1:30 PM more work with instructors to tighten up the song with a focus on trouble spots, possible instrument switching, and song modifications to fit the group’s skills; and 1:30–2:00 PM a second run-through jam session with the whole band in the Live Room, with a special performance for families on Friday. Campers can choose from electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, acoustic guitar, piano and keyboard, and vocals, and small bands typically have about one coach for every 5–6 campers. Campers can bring their own instruments if they have them, but guitars, basses, drums, keys, and microphones are available at camp, and all music and lesson materials are provided through the student portal; students bring their own lunch, and lunch is not provided by the camp, with recommended items including their instrument (if they have one), a water bottle, lunch or snacks, and a positive attitude.
