Dennis Frayne Music Studios (Laguna Niguel School of Music & Lake Forest School of Music) offers private music lessons and small group music lessons in piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, percussion, voice, singing, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, harp, violin, viola, cello, double bass, clarinet, flute, trumpet, trombone, tuba, and French horn. Dennis Frayne Music Studios is described as South Orange County’s largest music school and as South Orange County’s premier music schools, teaching hundreds of students from the very youngest ages to adult. The schools use state-of-the-art instruments, technology, and electronics, including LED monitors in each lesson room, and students can bring an iPhone, iPad, or other mobile device to enhance their music lesson. The program offers private one-on-one instruction as well as small group classes that average 2–4 students, with in-home and online lessons available in addition to studio instruction, and it includes frequent recitals and many performance opportunities.
Dr. Dennis leads Dennis Frayne Music Studios and developed proprietary teaching methods, strategies, and curricula over many years of working with students and teachers in public schools and private studios and academies. The studio’s stated philosophy is that having a studio philosophy provides a clear vision and guiding principles that shape the curriculum, teaching methods and strategies, how they care for students, teachers, parents, and families, and the overall mission of the school, and that a thoughtful philosophy ensures consistency in fostering a supportive, inspiring environment where students and teachers can grow musically, personally, and professionally in school, in life, and in careers. The mission statement also says, “We teach what you want to learn, the way you like to learn, so that you can enjoy learning, learn your best, and become the person you want to be - your true authentic self.”
Dennis Frayne Music Studios serves students and families from Aliso Viejo, Coto de Caza, Dana Point, Dove Canyon, Foothill Ranch, Irvine, Ladera Ranch, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Las Flores, Mission Viejo, Ranch Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Trabuco Canyon, Tustin, Orange, Newport Beach, Monarch Beach, and other surrounding central and south Orange County communities.
