About
ARTime Studio Fine Art Classes & Camps offers in-studio and online fine art classes where students work with acrylic, watercolor, sketching, chalk, charcoal, cartooning, ceramics, wheel-thrown ceramics, and pottery. The combo class is for all experience levels and includes these different types of art activities.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Hours Monday–Friday 1pm–5pm
• Price: $150 for package of 4 classes.
ARTime Studio states its mission as “Creating the artists of tomorrow.” ARTime Studio has been operating since 2002, and as of 2020 it has four operating locations in Laguna Niguel, Costa Mesa, Laguna Beach, and Cabo, Mexico. ARTime Barro in Laguna Beach, Costa Mesa, and Cabo specializes in ceramics and pottery and offers adult classes.
The program is led by Gabriela, Owner of ARTime LLC, who is a Laguna Niguel artist. Gabriela has been featured in two popular Spanish-speaking TV stations for operating the “Best Studio of the Year.” As a Mission Viejo resident, she has been a member of the City’s Cultural Arts Committee for 7 years, has created vivid life-size chalk art at the City’s Arts Alive Festival for a decade, and has completed large-scale murals at Evolution Swim Academy, Montanoso Recreation Center, events in Mission Viejo, the ceilings of the Lakeshore Academy, and a larger-than-life chalk book cover image of author Rick Riordan’s book on display at the Mission Viejo Library. Gabriela says, “My artistic pride comes from my student’s artwork. my masterpieces are my students and seeing them accomplish creativity. I love to teach the artists of tomorrow.”
